About these terms
aradhyasilks.com is run by Aradhya Silks ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our shipping, exchange and privacy policies. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy from us. You sign in with your email and a one-time code; keep access to your email secure, as anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.
Our sarees
Our sarees are woven by hand, and each is one of a kind. Small irregularities in the weave or zari are part of a handloom saree, not defects.
We photograph every saree as faithfully as we can, but colours vary between screens and in different light. Measurements, including blouse length, are approximate. Ask us for a daylight photo or a video call before you buy if colour matters to you.
Where a saree carries the Silk Mark label, it has been certified by the Silk Mark Organisation of India.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes for delivery in India. Orders shipped abroad may attract import duties and taxes in the destination country, paid by the recipient, and your card issuer may charge currency conversion fees.
Prices and availability can change without notice. If a saree is listed at a wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it's confirmed.
Payment is taken in full at checkout through our secure payment providers.
Orders
Your order is confirmed when your payment succeeds and we email you an order confirmation. A saree in your bag isn't reserved until then.
We may decline or cancel an order ourselves if the saree is no longer available, if there's a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud; if we do, we refund you in full.
Shipping, exchanges and cancellations
We don't accept returns, give refunds or cancel orders once they're placed. Delivery and exchanges are covered by our shipping policy and our exchange policy, which form part of these terms.
Using the site
Please use the site only to browse and buy for yourself or as a gift. Don't place false or fraudulent orders, copy or scrape the site with automated tools, or do anything that disrupts it or other people's use of it. We may suspend access for anyone who does.
Our content
The Aradhya Silks name and logo, and the site's photographs, text and designs, belong to us. You may view and share them for personal, non-commercial use, but not copy, sell or reuse them without our written permission. The Silk Mark name and logo belong to the Silk Mark Organisation of India.
Other services
Checkout, sign-in, payments, delivery and WhatsApp are provided by other companies, and their own terms also apply when you use them.
Our liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are solved with a conversation.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
